The United Against Torture Coalition (UATC), where the Medical Action Group, Inc. acts a member of the Steering Committee, conducts its Basta Run Against Torture IV on June 25, 2010 (Friday). The activity begins at the University of the Philippines Quezon Hall (UP Oblation) and ends at Bantayog ng Mga Bayani. Participants of the event are invited to assemble from 7:00 to 730 a.m. in front of UP Oblation Statue. Run starts at 7:30 until 8:30 am. This will be followed by a short program at 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at Bantayog ng mga Bayani. The details of the program are as follows:

1. Immediate implementation of the Anti-Torture Act of 2009 in the Philippines
2. Immediate ratification of the Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture
