This scoping study tackles the quality and procedures in the issuance of Certificate of Death (also known as Municipal Form 103), especially on cases of death under non-natural causes.
The research aims: to check if the standard on the death certification is compliant; to determine the real cause and manner of death but to ascertain or refute an official police report about the incident; and to recommend for stricter regulation and propose for minimum standard on the proper issuance of death certification.
