In celebration of the National Children’s Month 2020, the United Against Torture Coalition (UATC)-Philippines launched a webinar, Anti Terror Act of 2020 and Its Impacts on Children, that aims to raise awareness on what is Anti-Terror Act of 2020 and its effects on children.

The online webinar started with the presentation of Atty. Gian Arabejo, from Alternative Law Groups (ALG), on the background and salient features of Anti-Terror Act of 2020. Atty. Pamela Camacho, Children’s Legal Rights and Development Center (CLRDC), discussed the impact of ATA on children. Ernesto Anasarias, BALAY Rehabilitation Center, presented the impact of ATA on human rights work. Atty. Tin Sevilla, from Philippine Alliance of Human Rights Advocates (PAHRA), gave updates on the Supreme Court Petition.
